Keng Lye's 3D Art Blurs the Lines Between What's Real and What's Not Singapore-based Keng Lye is an artist who paints stunningly life-like, three-dimensional fish using epoxy resin and paint. This series -- called "Alive Without Breath" -- features turtles and fish created by layering epoxy resin and acrylic paint, all done in a painstaking and time consuming process. What is particularly unique about Lye's technique is that he is able to make his creatures appear as if they are emerging above the surface of the water.
